Dr. David Schwarz is an educator and technologist with extensive experience in sound engineering, technical theatre, and computing. Since 2013, he has lectured at Coleg Cambria, teaching Creative Technology, Digital Media, Music Technology, and Performance across various levels. He employs innovative teaching methods, integrating Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs), multimedia assessments, and peer learning.
As Social Partnership Lead at Coleg Cambria, David leads a team of social partnership representatives and facilitates social partnership initiatives at local, executive, and national levels. His contributions include developing an AI strategy and leading an AI research project to enhance workload management and curriculum quality.
David holds a PhD in Computing from Manchester Metropolitan University, focusing on UX for interconnected control systems and integrating emerging technologies like Extended Reality (XR) and real-time location tracking. He is currently pursuing an MA in Education Leadership at Bangor University. His expertise includes human-computer interaction, user experience design, and effective communication, with professional proficiency in both Welsh and English.
